Yay relationships! [20 Jan 2006|07:47pm]

Well, you see... Marlene sees you all as simple peasants. So a lot of you are barely recognized.

That and she has an amazingly selective memory, so!

Brief you-actually-made-impressions relationships list. )

Your Name/Alias: D-chan ([info]illianaka)
Age: 18
Character: Marlene
Series: Okage: Shadow King
Character Age: unknown; estimated to be approx. 15
Canon: Once upon a time, a cracked out PS2 game was created. The story focused on three primary characters, and they were awesome.

But Marlene was not of those three.

Marlene is an unplayable-but-still-tag-along character. She's the princess of the land in Okage; she's haughty and rude and expects all to do as she says. Her sheer stubborn will can make even Stan bend to her will, to a point--instead of owning 90% of Ari, as she proposed, or 50%, as Stan proposed, they both settled on an even 70%--in Marlene's favor. Her favorite sport is ordering Ari around, and he usually does just what she wants.

She also has kind of a thing for him, it's just a teensy bit hard to tell through her bossiness.

Sample Post:

Oh this is absolutely wretched! What sort of grand heroic adventure requires royalty such as I to wade through sand, snow, and mud territories within an hour? Absolutely unacceptable! This is not some fantasy. And really, the dense wetland areas are just absolute filth. What were these commoners thinking, allowing all this nature to grow here? How is a princess supposed to embark on her grand journey in these conditions?

And honestly, talking mushrooms, and mushrooms who claim royalty no less? The nerve fungi have these days! In the true face of royalty, even! Now if it were more of this Evil King nonsense, certainly I could understand--why, even that silly shadow of my slave was susceptible to such delirium!

And just where has my utterly obedient and 70% mine slave Ari run off to, anyway? You, sir squirrel, run off and fetch him! He's a meek, timid boy constantly overlooked and possessed by a rude little shadow. And while you're at it, tell him to bring a cloth and brush; I will need my shoes shined and hair brushed, and when he's done with that, he will carry me piggy-back to the next town. And then he shall make me tea.

Now, sir squirrel, off with you--sir squirrel? What on earth do you believe you are doing with that acorn--well! How dare you put on such an utterly obscene display! Don't you know nuts are for healing and not... not...

...

How peasant-like. Hmph.
